For a first for UK Radio, during the Black Friday weekend between Friday 26 November to Sunday 28 November 2021, Greatest Hits Radio counted down the UK's Official Top 200 Most Streamed Albums from the '70s, '80s and '90s.
The chart, which was compiled based on data supplied by the UK Official Charts Company, was topped by Queen’s 1981 compilation album Greatest Hits. To feature as the topped streamed album from the '70s, ’80s and ’90s is not surprising considering that Queen’s Greatest Hits is the UK’s best-selling album of all time, being the first album to hit 6 million UK sales.
In total, five Queen’s albums featured in the UK Official Top 200 Most Streamed Albums from the ’70s, '80s and '90s - the albums that featured were:
Greatest Hits,
The Game,
A Night At The Opera,
A Kind Of Magic
The Works
