This photo belongs to Kyrie Gemma Baldwin. In this Photo (Kyrie with her Fiance Martin.)

I got speaking to Kyrie only last week when she commented on a post that I also commented on, on "Majesty Queen Tribute" FaceBook page.

Kyrie is a huge Queen Fan.

Kyrie hasn't seen "Majesty Queen Tribute" perform live yet but she is going to see them in April.

I asked Kyrie if she could tell me how long she's been a queen fan for, how she heard about "Majesty Queen Tribute" etc. This is what Kyrie sent me. Hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did.

QUEEN – My Kind of Magic

When it comes to Queen, where do I start?

I was fortunate to become a fan of this amazing and flawless group when I was very young, as members of my family were fans of them, including my dad.

I’ve grown up listening to these 4 incredible and talented men, and now at 28, are in love with them more then I thought possible.

Being able to understand the lyrics and appreciate the different types of music they explored has made my passion for them extremely deep and strong.

I can’t remember the first song I heard from Queen, but I have developed my favourites and I love them all for different reasons.

“Love of my Life” has to be my most favourite. This is because the simplicity of the acoustic guitar is so beautiful and captures my thoughts and emotions in ways I never imagined music could. The lyrics of this wonderful emotion provoking song are full of passion, endearment, longing and sadness. All these different feelings make for a tear jerker of a song and I can’t help but cry each time I hear it.

My favourite upbeat song has to be “Another One Bites the Dust”. John’s riff on this explosive song is so catchy, I find myself tapping along to the beat, accompanied by Brian’s strong guitar and the toe tapping drum beat by Roger makes this song one I can’t help but rock out too. The lyrics are also strong and empowering which gives off a nothing is impossible vibe, which I love as it has helped me realise nothing can bring me down unless I let it.

I can’t go into all of my favourites, otherwise I will be here for days, LOL, but I will list a few more. They include “Somebody to Love”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “Is This The World We Created”, “Who Wants To Live Forever”, “Hammer To Fall”, “Radio Ga Ga” and “We Will Rock You”.

I also adore some of Freddie’s solo music too, including “Made In Heaven”, “The Great Pretender” and “In My Defence”

The day I found out about Majesty was so amazing, I was looking on “Facebook” at new posts on my time line and their concert at The Catford Broadway Theatre came up as a sponsored post. I took a look at it as the post mentioned that Majesty were a Queen tribute and they were the first one I’d come across. I opened the event page and was instantly intrigued and interested. I really wanted to book tickets and experience Queen’s music live for the first time. I spoke to my friend Lynsey at work to see if she was interested, we looked at the tickets over lunch and she was excited saying “We must go, we have to do this”. We had a look at the ticket prices for the stalls and at £23.50, they are reasonable. We both had a look at our finances and could both afford it, so that night I booked the tickets and the feeling of happiness and excitement came over me like a blanket and has not left me.

After booking the tickets, I looked up Majesty on YouTube and was enchanted by them from moment one. I adore Seth’s voice accompanied by the costumes, he looks and sounds stunning like our Freddie. Peter, Chris and James make up our fabulous 4 and bring the Queen sound completely to life, it’s intoxicating.

I have had some contact with Seth, he’s a charming man. I told him how exited I was to see Majesty and hopefully meeting them after. Seth made my day when he said that he and Brian would come out to see us after the show, my heart started racing and I got butterflies. I can’t fully put into words how happy, excited, overwhelmed and some-what nervous I am about meeting this sensational group, it will be the hi-light of my 2019. I can’t explain how thankful and grateful I am to Majesty for keeping Queen and their unforgettable music alive.

My deepest thank you Majesty and see you on April 26th in Catford.

Thank you so much to Kyrie for sharing with us her Journey with Queen.
