It was on this day thirty years ago that Queen released their thirteenth studio album, The Miracle.
The Miracle was recorded at The Olympic Studio and Townhouse Studio in London, and their Mountain Studio in Montreux; the album took a year to complete.
The Miracle's cover artwork proved to be the last album that featured a photo of the band members. It was created by the designer Richard Gray who utilised image manipulation to combine the photographs of the four individual band members into one morphed image thus depicting the music of Queen.
