The Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA) is a trade organisation that supports and promotes the creative and financial vitality of the major music companies. RIAA also certifies Gold, Platinum, Multi-Platinum and Diamond sales/streaming awards.
On 25 March 2021, Queen's single Bohemian Rhapsody was credited with a Diamond status (10 x Platinum) for achieving over 10 million sales; giving Queen the honour to be the first UK band to achieve a Diamond status single.
