It was on this day in history that Freddie Mercury released his solo album Mr. Bad Guy.
Mr. Bad Guy was recorded between 1983 - 85 at the musicland Studios in Munich during a period in which Queen were on a hiatus from recording. The album's title was originally due to be called Made In Heaven, but Mercury changed his mind weeks before the album went to press.
In a contrast to the typical rock-orientated work associated with Queen, Freddie Mercury drew upon influences from the pop and disco dance music.
Initially, the album was due to feature duets with Michael Jackson however, it has been widely suggested that personal conflicts between Mercury and Jackson were to blame for the unfinished tracks.
For the purpose of the Queen quiz, please note that all the questions are based on the original UK release.
