“Absolute Greatest” is Queen's fifth compilation album, released on the 11th November 2009, featuring Queen's most famous and internationally successful recognised hits.
The album was released across several formats:
Single CD edition
2-CD special edition featuring audio commentaries by Brian and Roger
Limited edition 52-page hardback book with the 2-CDs
Digital download version
LP edition box set. Each track was remastered from the original tapes by Bob Ludwig.
All the featured tracks have been digitally remastered from the original tapes.
“Absolute Greatest” landed major top-ten placements across Europe, showcasing Queen's enduring popularity:
United Kingdom: A massive peak at Number 3.
Germany: Rocking its way to Number 4.
Austria, Spain, and Portugal: Hitting the top 5!
Other Key Markets: Securing top 10 spots in Sweden and Switzerland.
