This weekend I had the pleasure of joining the guys on tour and as expected they rocked the crowds!
The weekend started with Friday night’s performance at Pontins Prestatyn for the 48 hour comedy weekender. The band were performing at Lunars Bar after the crowd had been warmed up by the comedy talents of Katherine Ryan.
The crowd had been up for the show during the sound check and by the time it was showtime they were raring to go. Majesty performed all the rocking classics which delighted the packed bar of party goers.
After the show it was time to pack up and catch some sleep in the chalet before Saturdays journey to the Midlands.
After refuelling at a popular fast food chain we were back on the road south to Oldbury. Majesty were performing at the lounge bar of the Mecca Bingo Hall. We received a warm welcome from the hosts and the band started setting up for the show.
The hall was packed out with over 700 bingo goers and the crowd were ready to rock by showtime.
The weekend was a hit and there were many happy new fans of Majesty.
One thing you experience when you’re on tour with the band is the hard work and dedication the band have. From the hundred mile round trips driving, to the setup and pack down, sound-checking and rehearsals. It’s not all glamour and rock and roll but when they hit that stage, seeing the love they have for the music, it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
